Eli Long

Eli was raised in Sharp County, Arkansas and is a graduate of Highland High School. He has an associate of applied science in funeral service education from the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana, and he is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He became part of the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home family in August 2016 and serves as manager of the Wynne and McCrory locations. He resides in Wynne with his wife, Jacy and their four children: Calvin, Charlotte, Crew, and Creed. He is a member of the Wynne Rotary Club and currently serves as the vice-president and treasurer. He is a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church in Forrest City, and in his spare time he enjoys coaching youth baseball.
Susie Odom
Administrative Assistant
Susie Odom was born in Tennessee and ultimately graduated from Newport High School. She and her husband, Buddy, now live in Tupelo and are the proud parents of one daughter and loving grandparents to one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. Susie became a part of the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home family in 1999, and she retired in 2024 after 25 years of dedicated service.
Heather Hess

Heather Hess is a native of Heth, Arkansas and a graduate of Hughes High School. She joined the Thompson-Wilson family in 2014, and currently serves as a funeral director apprentice at our Wynne location. Heather and her husband, Phillip, were married in 2007, and have two children, Zac and wife, Brynn, and Cassie and husband, Jack, and three grandchildren, Easton, Wyatt, and Weslyn. Heather and Phillip are parishioners of St. Mary's Catholic Church in McCrory. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting and attending her grandchildren's extracurricular activities.
